Personal Evaluation - for Christmas party. 

 

 

My part in the planning was a few ideas witch was putting a box wrapped in wrapping paper under the tree if we had one. The way we planed was we all sat down around a table and talked about what we wanted. We all took notes about it so we talked about food and if we were going to have a tree also we talked about if we were going to have bands or not, from the open evening and how the bands acted up so we really didn’t want them. Our teacher made us add the bands because of the performance students need to do this as part of their project.

 

One of the group talked to the catering department but they couldn’t help so we thought about crisps, sausage rolls, gingerbread men, mince pies, biscuits, cocktail sausages, cheese, and pineapple hedgehog and a Christmas colin. when we talked about how to promote the party we said we would put up posters around the college that started the date, time, where and why to attend. Also, we wanted to put on our Instagrams and Facebook.

 

When the day came we had all day to set up. We started by going through the decoration to see what we had and what we are going to use.

Overall I think that we could have planed a lot better. The party didn’t go so well the bands we had again kicked up and then the karaoke was okay and a few people got up to do it but after the bands had finished a lot of the people left so there were only my class and a few people from other class, the turn out was not very good but me and my class had a lot of fun setting up witch I don’t know if you can see from the videos. 

If I could do anything differently I would make sure that we had planned the event more and made it more of a party and less of a show because in the end, it became more of a show than anything.
